I wanted it for me…now I can share it with you.

I was highly concerned about scratching Mike O’Shea’s Tiffen G70x arm during my stint at the Steadicam Operators Association Seminar. He had me backing through doorways at the ruins of an old church while using his personal Tiffen M1 Steadicam and G70x arm. The stones were quite weathered and coarse, and at least half of my brain was being used to make sure I didn’t brush up against one and put a big old scratch on his very nice gear. When I voiced my fears he said, “Eh…don’t worry about it.” I was like, “…okay BrO’Shea…” While I did my very best to clear the thresholds, I was nonetheless quite worried. I hatched the idea that perhaps I could create a cover for the arm that would protect it while shooting, or while it was being schlepped around set, or at any time that the arm was not in my transport case…and perhaps we could even make it look super rad.

So, here it is…a hard-core, easy-to-install, protective, customizable sleeve for your stabilizer arm…have some.
